Greetings from
Australia
"When
I arrived in Australia five months ago, I expected breathtaking
landscapes and heart-stopping adventures.
What I didn't expect were the long-lasting, strong friendships
that have formed between myself, other trainees, past trainees
and a group of local people.
In ten years from now I know that when I call and tell them
I'm in the area and would like to stop by, they will welcome
my with open arms and homes."

Greetings from NewZealand
"The
practical things have all been taken care of and you have a
great 'safety net' behind you.
The chance for meeting and making friends from all over the
world and improving your English while doing so; getting a whole
new family on the other side of the world, and last but certainly
not least, developing your skills on an agricultural basis and
discovering new sides of yourself that you never thought you
possessed."

Greetings from the UK
"There
was always a good variety of work to be involved in such as
milking, silaging, grain harvesting, stock and tractor work.
I was also involved in the construction of a new, larger and
more modern dairy to facilitate a growing herd.
I made some great friends during my time and would thoroughly
recommend it, not only for the agricultural experience gained,
but also for the experience of living in a different culture.
The AgriVenture programme is the way to go if you are looking
to combine agriculture with travel."

Greetings from the South
Pacific
"There's
nothing like a camp meal cooked over an open fire, accompanied
by home made damper. And of course, let's not forget the brilliant
wildlife. The koalas and kangaroos are adorable and the laughter
of a kookaburra always brings a smile to my face.
IAEA has given me the world over and I only hope I'll be able
to give something back to the organisation in the future."
